A decorative illustration featuring a lemon theme with two circular portraits of a woman with glasses and blonde hair tied in a bun. The left portrait shows her reading a book, and the right shows her smiling. The background has a border of lemons with green leaves and white flowers. The text reads 'Mother Limon Says' and 'Sharing the Sweet & Sour.'

How to turn life’s lemons into something other than lemonade.

Why mothering?

Our mothers guide us and teach us with love and intention. Sometimes, we need the gentle softness of a mother’s touch. Others, we need the firm hand of a strong mom. We never stop needing our mothers.

There are many types of mothers. Just because you haven’t given birth, and were not born a female doesn’t keep you from being able to be a mother. If you care for another, you could be a mother. Caring for another person or living creature is a HUGE undertaking. The only real requirement for being a mother is having the fortitude to be able to care for another.

My goal is to chronicle good, sound, motherly advice with just a little sweet and sour tang. I hope to entertain you, and give you thought provoking life lessons. I will do my best to cite my research to back up any claims I make.

Now come in, sit down, get comfy! We are going to talk about life.

What kind of mother do you need today?
